A Full Year of Sweetness! Happy Birthday Gwen!

From the first moment we laid eyes on her, the word sweet came to mind. Zach said it first and I had to echo it. While motherhood can be so challenging at times- there is absolutely no way I would ever give up my sweet children for ANYTHING!



We just went to the Dr. today for our well-baby check and learned that Gwen is in the 75-90th percentile for height and 5th percentile for weight. That's in spite of the fact that she eats more than Lincoln. Go figure! I guess her height makes up for her weight?
She isn't walking yet, but will stand by herself and loves to walk with help. She says a few words like mama and dada and her favorite word is duck- something she says whenever she sees her rubber duck.
She continues to be so sweet. She's very independent and somehow a mama's girl at the same time.
She loves her big brother and he loves her and now they're starting to play together more! (yea!)
In other related and exciting news, she now shares a birthday with a new cousin, born yesterday morning to the Eric and Brandy Shamo family.

We're so glad she's in our family and that she decided to join us when she did!
