Hi Lincoln,
How was your week? Were you able to get that family to come back to church?
We've been busy doing the normal stuff here. At the end of the week, Dad and I were able to go to the temple. Lately, with the study of Come Follow Me this year, we've been learning a lot about the creation and were excited to go to the temple with all we've learned in mind.
Gwen was busy this weekend with ACT bootcamp at Basic. She is so focused on her school work, I'm sure she'll do well when she takes the test later this month.
Nyle and West continue to spend most of their free time with friends. Zach and Ned spent much of the day taking care of various home maintenance projects in the backyard yesterday.
This coming weekend, we'll likely be heading up to Logandale to help Grandma and Grandpa Hills take more to the dump, and then we'll hurry back to attend Stake Conference.
Today, Dad subbed for Gwen in leading the music as she was away at ACT bootcamp. I think he really enjoyed himself. We're enjoying a sunny, beautiful Sunday and will likely head over to a park soon to really enjoy it.
I'll send along some pictures, but there's really not much to report this week.
We love you so much! Can't wait to talk to you tomorrow!
Love,
Mom and Dad

Hi Elder Hills!
How has your week been? How is the work going?
We are doing well. We've enjoyed some beautiful weather and some good hard work.
Our week was pretty standard as far as work goes. We kept busy with the usual schedules.
Friday, Gwen took Ned and West to a Basic play. I think they really enjoyed themselves. It was called The Spelling Bee.
Saturday, we went to Logandale early in the morning to help Grandma and Grandpa prepare to move. We worked hard and made some good headway. We kept busy with loading the trailer with a load for the dump, stoking the fire to diminish their wood pile, and tore down the raised garden beds in their garden. It's getting pretty cleared out there! The boys were a big help, but also were able to make time to build a house out of scrap wood, ride the four-wheeler, drive the tractor, play around in the wheelbarrow, and catch a few geckos.
We headed for home, made a quick stop at the Business Costco, and then rushed home to catch the adult session of Stake Conference.
Then, this morning, at Stake Conference we said goodbye to President Cavalieri, Southwick and Robbins and sustained our new Stake Presidency: President Robbins (Quaid's dad), President Lund (Parker's Dad), and President Braggs. I'm sure they'll be amazing!
We're excited to talk to you tomorrow.
Love you!

Hi Lincoln,
How are you this week? Are you staying safe? It seems like there are harrowing events in each week for you--attacking dogs, violent and sudden illness, robbing attempts by drunks... Whew! I sure pray for you all the time!
We have been doing well. We had a pretty normal week.
Nyle has been going to soccer intramurals and tryouts for the soccer team are taking place this week for him. He still spends a lot of time with his friends. Yesterday, he went on a long bike ride out to Lake Las Vegas with his friends and stopped to get smoothies on the way back. He had a lot of fun--they sure have some great adventures together.
Gwen is super busy with piano lessons and is getting ready for a Spring recital for them. She's up to around 12 students, and she's working hard to help them progress.
Ned is becoming a regular at the gym and has figured out how to get most of his homework done on the bus ride home, so he's really learning how to manage his time effectively. I'm trying to convince him to pick up a few of Gwen's waitlist piano students for a little side job for now. He really wants to get a job.
West is doing well in school. I have so much fun being in the classroom next to him. He's such an amazing student and is super close to graduating from AR.
Dad had so much fun working yesterday. We went out to Logandale again yesterday and he had set a goal to clear the wash-- which was loaded with so much junk. I think he accomplished his goal. We ended up burning their giant woodpile and dragging so much junk out from everywhere! We're working on getting them closer to moving all the time.
I'm doing well...just trying to keep up with my amazing family and work. I sure love being a momma--it's the best job ever. Every time I think about my kiddos, my heart gets so full of love and gratitude for you all. I am so grateful for my family. Relationships are the joy of life!
We love you so much and are so proud of what you are learning and doing. Please remember that even though we love you more than you can imagine, your Father in Heaven loves and knows you perfectly--we know that because He sent His perfect Son to die for us!
Love you so much!

Lincoln (Elder Hills),
It's about time for transfers! I'm excited to talk to you. How has your week gone?
We had a good week. I'm sending pictures of our bike ride on Monday, even though you talked to us after we went on our ride. Ned came with Dad and I until we got to BC, then we met up with Gwen who drove Nyle, West, and an extra bike out. Nyle hopped on my bike and the boys finished the ride home while Gwen and I went for a jog and then headed back to pick up some ice cream and meet everyone at home.
This week was a busy one with Nyle having soccer tryouts, West graduating Super Star level in AR at school and Gwen going to one more ACT bootcamp ahead of her ACT test this coming Tuesday. We drove out to Logandale to join with Chris and Jodi, Dallas, Anna, Libby, Sarah, and Zoie to do some more cleanup of the yard, house and building. We're getting so much done. We loaded up the white trailer for the third time for a trip to the dump and were able to get a little of the building cleaned out- which was such a huge deal!
Then today, we drove back up to Mesquite for Dantzel's homecoming. She gave such a great talk and you could tell that she really loved the work she was doing in Peru. We're so proud of all of our missionaries!
We look forward to talking to you tomorrow. It will be exciting to hear about potential transfers!
Love you so much!
