June

The boys were helping Zach wash the cars and got creative

Lincoln and Gwen at their well-check.  Shots for both and they are still not fans of shots.  One passed out and the other felt like it.  The nurse who administered the shots and then gave them popsicles after they passed out was a young man with shoulder-length, dark hair, dark eyebrows and a bit of a middle eastern accent.  When we left the doctor’s office, Lincoln said, “Mom, Jesus gave me a popsicle”.

A double-rainbow at the nearby park

Checking out the new TV in the newly renovated Rec Center

Girl's Camp:  We went up to Big Rock Candy Mountain this year and the girls had so much fun!  I love being with the Young Women!
Took a visit to Cowabunga Bay with my cuties. Everything is so much more fun with kids!

Our gorgeous neighborhood at sundown

Father's Day!  We tried to spoil Zach with a new custard-style ice cream and a mini-bike he can put under his desk at work and pedal when he needs some movement.

Ned and his fellow deacons brought a gift basket for our ward's newest missionary as he attended his home MTC- Elder Battistone

Ned won a lap-swimming contest with the other deacons at our neighborhood pool

Temple trip early one Summer morning

Gwen's first time driving in Itso

Early in June we decided to do some touristy stuff in our own backyard.  We went to Hoover Dam and the bypass bridge, followed by the Las Vegas strip and then bowling.  It was a great day!

May 2023

These Quail made a nest in the pot next to our front door and we had so much fun watching them putter around our yard.

Heading out for a date at the E-week dinner

Zach and I in front of the Provo Temple for Casey and Israel's wedding.

West earned a handful of awards: STEM, Straight A's and Principal's Award.  He's such an amazing kid!

Nyle also makes me so proud.  He also earned the Straight A award!

Gwen earned an award from the Language department at school and also earned a $500 scholarship from her Middle School. She is such an amazing student!

These kids all earned Straight A's.  Lincoln was also able to maintain A's and B's.  We are so lucky to have these amazing kiddos!

Zach and his three little boys hanging out at the clubhouse to play some ping pong.

Enjoying the pool and slide at our community pools opening pool party.

The first day of Summer!  I had to go into work to close up my classroom, but I was able to work quickly and even arrived home before some of my kids woke up for the day so I decided we would all celebrate with a big breakfast!
Gwen is really growing pianistically!

Early one morning we decided to be tourist and go checkout the Bridge that overlooks Hoover Dam, and then we also checked out Hoover Dam.

After the tourist stuff, we hit up the bowling alley again to refine our bowling skills.

The boys had so much fun being enthusiastic, despite the performance of the bowler.

April 2023

Ned and Gwen joined Zach for the take-your-child-to-work day.  They started the day off with Hot Cocoa from the cappuccino machine.

Having fun with costumes and their creative minds

Not sure why he wanted to wear this, but I thought it was pretty cute.

Finishing off a great soccer season as a 6th grader at Brown

Selling Cinnamon Rolls for camp fundraising

Took the kids bowling.  We're all pretty bad, but we sure had a lot of fun!

West rediscovered this toy as we were considering giving it away and reverted to his toddle-hood.
