Since the biggest event in our life most recently has been the birth of our son, it seems only proper that this entry be about him.
Lincoln D Hills was born about 8 weeks ago on the longest day of the year- June 21, 2007. He's grown and growing incredibly fast. We believe he weighs at least 12 lbs now and is beginning to wear his 3-6month clothes. That attribute must surely come from his father because the Shamo's certainly don't grow that fast. He's a lot of fun. Today I'm celebrating because last night, he slept all the way through the night for the first(hopefully not last) time. Hopefully that wasn't a fluke occurrence, but even if it was I can't complain because he'd only been waking up once a night for the past couple of weeks. I love being a mom and I know Zach loves being a dad. On the mornings that I wake up before him, it feels like Christmas because I can't wait to go see him and pick him up.
The pictures I've included of him are right after his bath(an all-time favorite activity of his)
and with his cousins(who are 7 weeks older than him).

Very Cute! I remember it almost was scary for me when Wyatt started sleeping through the night, I use to wake up in the middle of the night to make sure he was okay, I hope that doesn't happen to you!
Oh, I definitely wake up in the middle of the night to make sure he's okay. He slept through the night again last night and I was up again at 3:00 checking on him.
