Travelog:
Thursday night: After finding out we were having a girl, we headed straight up to Cedar to spend the evening at Tim and Dallas' place. Lincoln and Emery stayed up late playing. Lincoln seemed to get such a rush from taking things from Emery, then running to me. We'll have to teach him how to be a gentleman.
Friday: We headed up to Parowan, then up to this amazing lodge/cabin where we met up with tons of family. The lodge used to be a yoga retreat and there are tons of rooms, a commercial kitchen, two hot tubs, pool table, ping pong table, breakfast room, lawn area outside perfect for croquet, and many other mini- cabins outside. And that's just barely scratching the surface with this place. Let's just say, there was so much to do there that not many people ended up going on 4-wheeler rides. That doesn't include Zach though, I don't think he can be distracted from 4-wheeling. That evening, Zach, Lincoln and I went on an exploratory 4-wheeler ride and found this awesome old bus that we had to take pictures with. Later on, after a great dinner, I put Lincoln down for bed then joined everyone downstairs to watch some Olympics. Unfortunately, I had just missed that amazing Michael Phelps race where he almost took the silver, rather than the gold.
Saturday: After a great breakfast, we spent some time around the cabin playing games(thanks to Brandon and Camrin and their excellent selection). Lincoln took a much-needed 3 hour nap allowing me some time to really play, then we took another short 4-wheeler ride. That night, after dinner we had a family meeting/talent show. We saw some cool acrobatics from Dal and Brenda's family, heard some great voices and watched Emery do some of her sign language. Zach even did a yoga move for everyone for his talent.

Sunday: We took it easy around the cabin and outside, then headed home. It was hard to leave because I knew that I was leaving gorgeous weather to head towards scorching weather.

Now I'm anxious for another trip!
