Achieved in his first attempt to climb one of the bar stools. He somehow succeeded in knocking over the stool and hitting another chair on his way down. I was only about a foot away when it all happened and didn't see anything but a blur as he tumbled.
He bit his tongue, bloodied his nose, and managed to get a lump on both the back and front of his head.
He is consequently very afraid of falling off of anything, even the bed.
Today at church while everyone inquired about his eye, only one person mentioned CPS.

Wow, that looks pretty bad. :( Brandon, my nephew, fell off the pony wall in the entry of my parents house & landed right on his head. My sister took him to UMC, but be ended up ok. Poor little guy!
Poor guy! My kids ALWAYS have bruises and when Elise got her black eye at least 3 people at church told us "You're not suppose to hit her in the face". Apparantly we look abusive... And when Dallin was 6 months old (while being babysat) he fell off our a counter top and hit the hard tile floor. After an Urgent Care visit they decided he was fine. Kids are amazingly flexible! I'm SO glad that Lincoln is okay.
Wow! I'm very impressed! I think we'll be posting a picture similar to this one in about 2 years, assuming that it's a boy thing :) Poor Lincoln!
That is so sad. Poor boy and poor mommy! I can only imagine how terrible that must have been.
Ouch! Poor Lincoln. He is so sweet too.
Yikes! I hope he's doing better. Poor guy!
Oh my goodness! So sad Lincoln, great grandma hurts for you. You are so precious I don't like it at all when you get hurt. You must be careful - you are not a monkey you know. I love you.
Great grandma Shamo
