February has been the month of sickness. We're still recovering in fact, from a horrid cold/flu- but the worst is behind us and I have high hopes for March. Fortunately, Ned has been able to avoid the sicknesses thus far--such a blessing!
Life with three kids is good, an adjustment- just like life with one, then two kids was an adjustment, but good. Having a newborn is such a sweet experience every time and fortunately for us, Ned is a good little baby. He is greatly adored by his siblings. Lincoln spends so much time fawning over him- it's very sweet to watch, and sad that we've all been so sick that we've had to keep our distance for a while.
Lincoln has also been busy learning how to ride his bike and now that's all he wants to do most days.
Gwen is busy these days making any mess she can. She can make a mess of anything and I'm constantly surprised by what new mess she's left in my house. She's successfully emptied an entire container of dry macaroni all over my bedroom floor, emptied and smeared a tube of lipstick all over herself, figured out how to use the water dispenser on the fridge (oh joy!) and subsequently spilled water all over the floor. And, to seemingly prove the point, literally just dropped a cup full of water on the office floor while I've been typing this paragraph. She makes about a thousand messes a day and I really just have to pick my battles with her on these messes. She's always been a good self-entertainer and now this is how she does it. When I ask her what she's doing, often her answer is "I make a mess!" Oh well- memories, right?
Zach and I are busy learning how to be the parents of three children now. Life is good!

Look at Lincoln go! He is so little to be riding a bike without training wheels! So fun! Cute Gwen, she reminds me of Casey at that age. Who would have thought that such a sweet little face could get into so much trouble (or make so many messes). What a sweet heart! And it is so fun to see some updated pictures of Ned. Thanks for sharing. Miss you guys.
We love the new photos. Ned is so cute. We are glad your sickness is on the mend. It is hard being sick with a new baby in the house. It looks like Lincoln is having a blast on his bike. It doesn't surprise me that he learned so quick. He loves wheels!
Adorable pictures. I am surprised to see Lincoln already riding a bike! It took my boys forever to feel comfotable enough to ride one. Way to go!
Oh my gosh! I love the pic of Gwen. Priceless. I don't know how you do it with 3! When do you sleep (especially if any or all are sick?!). The prospect of #3 scares me to death right now...probably a good thing! Ned is so precious. Thanks for the update. And way to go Lincoln!
Wow! What beautiful spirits! We are so lucky to have the children and their mates all giving us grandchildren.

I haven't been on your blog forever and just wanted to say congrats on your new baby! He is a keeper! Looks like you have three under control. I am so not ready for that yet but you give me hope that I will be someday!
