old baseboard

My baby is due in 3 weeks so that's the perfect time to start a home improvement project, right?  Anyone who's ever been pregnant can sense the sarcasm in that statement.  However, Zach has been doing a great job on replacing all our baseboards in the house. With a 5th child coming, we're beginning to feel the pressure of needing more space relatively soon.  We've got a whole list of projects to do to get our home ready to sell.  We've already stained the bathroom cabinets and placed a frame around the mirror-- that took 2 weekends.  Now we're in the middle of the baseboards, but this project has just enearthed more projects needing to be done before we can really be done with the baseboards like painting the walls and fixing our bathroom shower.  It seems like every time I'm within a month of having a baby, life moves into warp-speed and I find myself scrambling to get things done before the baby comes.  Nesting is such a strong urge!

This month also holds fun things like the 100th day party.  Gwen really gets into school and wanted to dress up like a 100-year-old.  Lincoln abstained, of course.  She also just passed off her second level of Accelerated Reader.  She is doing so well! 

The weather has been unseasonably warm so we've been spending a lot of time outside.  Ned and Nyle are playing with water- since we learned about the letter W this week.
