The school has an annual fundraiser call the Apex Fun Run. The kids really get into and love running! Nyle and West were able to run at the same time and even ran together a bit. Nyle and his friend Hunter would wait for West from time to time to run together. West ran fast, pretty much the entire time. He's a runner!

| One particularly cold Monday, we decided to have a dance-off for FHE to get some of our energy out together. |

| Way to go Gwen! She was named Super Writer for her class. Students write on a given topic, and then are graded blindly by the other grade level teachers. One student from each class is selected as the best in the class. This takes place 3 to 4 times per year. |
