Birthday Party in Annabella

Saturday, after leaving Duck Creek, we headed up I-89 to Annabella and Zach's family. When we got there, things were under way for a birthday party for Lincoln since it was his Birthday that very day. Tim made an awesome Birthday cake (after seeing what he'd made for Emery's birthday, I was pretty excited about what he had in store for Lincoln and I wasn't disappointed- What must it be like to have such talent?).

We had the best spaghetti I've ever had- made by Jodi. (She used some of the bottles of spaghetti sauce she had made last year from her amazing garden). Then we went outside for Lincoln to open his gifts and dig into his cake (literally).

His cousin Emery even got in to help him with his cake, but she's a girl and thus much cleaner than Lincoln.

I am totally loving the Penny cake. Tim is so talented when it comes to cakes! I would have never thought of making a cake like that. :)

What a cool blog post. I love the picture of Lincoln "digging" in his cake. And I love how you described the cake. Cool! Tim is pretty awesome with cakes. Now he has a lot to live up to for all the birthday parties for all our kids! Whew!
