Hills Family Reunion

Sunday evening, June 22, we headed up the mountains above Annabella to begin the camping portion of our trip. We had a beautiful spot close to a lake up high in the aspen and pines. It was gorgeous.
Zach went on a 70 mile four wheeling trip one day, then took Lincoln and I on a shorter trip the following day.
Lincoln was so funny with the four wheeler. He loves it! Whenever I'd put him down anywhere close to one, he'd walk over to it and pat it with a big smile on his face. Also, anytime he was every really ornery, I'd just put him up on one of the four wheelers and he'd be all smiles.

I took Lincoln down to the lake where my brother-in-law Tim taught me how to fish with a lure. Lincoln also had a chance to for a ride on a horse with uncle Chris.
We all got filthy, but no where near as much as Lincoln did. It also seemed good for Lincoln to have to practice his walking on such uneven terrain.

Tuesday evening, we descended the mountain and attempted to rid ourselves from some of the layers of dirt. Then we headed home Wednesday. It was so good to get out of the Vegas heat for a little while.

Nikki, totally random comment: on Sunday as I was walking into the church one of the adorable Bird boys (I think Bradley is his name???) was handing out programs, and when he saw me he said, "You look like my piano teacher." I asked him who she was, and he said you, so I told him that was quite a compliment. Which it is. It was cute.

Jen,
How funny! Brad is a cute kid! I take it as a compliment as well.
