That Gwen is determined to be a night owl--while I am certainly a morning-person. Hmmm.... who's going to win this one? She isn't fussy at night, on the contrary, she's very pleasant, as long as you don't put her in bed until AT LEAST 10:30pm, preferably, not until 11:30pm. I've resorted to decreasing her naps during the day in hopes that it might alter this, the jury's still out on whether that is working-some days it does, other days it doesn't.

That Lincoln LOVES to be read to, right now he's really into Halloween/Fall books, especially these two. I LOVE the illustrations on these books, and I think Lincoln does too. He also is really good at reciting some of his all-time favorite books like Duck on a Bike and I Wish I Had.
That Gwen is an excellent self-entertainer. As long as she's fed and has a relatively clean diaper, she can and will entertain herself for hours.(Notice I didn't say well-rested, that really isn't a factor in her happiness too often.) This is especially true now that she can get pretty much anywhere she wants to with her "crawl". (her "crawl" is really more like a crawl most of the time, with a stink bug walk inserted every once in a while)
That Lincoln LOVES to sing or be sung to, I get to go in and sing with the Nursery children as part of my calling and he's always singing so well with me. It's perhaps my favorite part of the calling. Some of his favorite songs are: ABC song, Twinkle, Twinkle..., Head, Shoulders, Knees..., and A Child's Prayer (I love hearing him try to sing this one--his voice goes so high!)
Life gets so busy and I just assume I'll remember some of these things. So this time, instead of assuming I'll remember these cute idiosyncrasies, I'm blogging them. Yay for blogging!

Geez, your kids just keep getting more and more beautiful! I didn't think they could get any cuter but they do. What cute pictures of all of them. I love hearing about all the things they are doing. I feel so far away from you guys that I miss out on a lot of it. So I say Yay for blogging for that reason!
Sweet Babies! These two are adorable. I love how they make each other happy after naps. I hope Gwen's little sleeping routines adjust in your favor!
Such a smart idea to write down all the little cute things. I might have to steal that. Good for you. ;)
