Kids make every holiday so much more fun. Lincoln was so fascinated with dying these eggs. After we dyed them, he would hide them about 50 times each day leading up to Easter and have me "find" them. Of course he'd always show me where he hid them. Even with all the secular festivities surrounding the holiday, Lincoln was very attentive when we told him about the real purpose for celebrating Easter. It's amazing to me-but not surprising, how interested children at this age are in stories of Jesus.
