The next weekend, Lincoln made a special request for us to visit Sonic, the one restaurant within walking distance of our house, which we did before dying Easter Eggs.
Easter this year was first celebrated at our house complete with one empty Easter egg for someone to find(an attempt to keep the focus on the Savior) and a ton of other slightly-candy-filled eggs. After finding the eggs, it was fun to observe what each child did with their eggs.

That evening, after church we went to my parents house for Easter dinner and another egg hunt. As always, it was great getting together with family to celebrate a Holiday.
The following weekend found us in Logandale for the Clark County Fair and Rodeo. Although the forecast didn't look too promising, it turned out to be a pretty fun day. We spent most of our time watching shows and looking at the animals.

Lastly, Zach had his corporate challenge bike race near the end of the month. Earlier in the day, Lincoln hadn't been feeling good so I told him we wouldn't go if he wasn't feeling good. He promised me he would feel better and sure enough, come evening time, he was good to go. Zach's race took place out at Las Vegas Motor Speedway so in addition to watching and cheering on daddy, we got to see some cool jets coming and going into Nellis Air Force base.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any really good shots of Zach in action (no surprise) as I was trying to race to get a good shot of him with a child in my arms and the camera in another, but it was a lot of fun for all of us to be there and Zach ended up getting 2nd place in his age bracket again. Go Daddy!
