Ahh Chocolate Chip Cookies
For the last couple of weeks, I've been craving chocolate chip cookies. I haven't made them because I haven't wanted to heat up my house with using the oven, but Saturday I finally broke down and found that I wasn't the only one excited to have some freshly baked cookies. Both Zach and Lincoln parked themselves in front of the oven to watch the cookies bake. It was Lincoln's first experience with them and he loved them(of course- he does have Shamo blood in him)!

You are so funny! You remind me of my mom. She was always notorious for putting the crock pot outside during the summer. But I would do the same thing in that Vegas heat. Lincoln does look pretty excited to eat that cookie! I wish we were closer; I LOVE to bake!
I cringe when Patrick bakes in the summer...but never turn down his oatmeal cookies! I understand why people have outdoor kitchens!

Mmmm, those look so tempting. Don't blame the boys for their excitement. I'm lucky that I ate a large piece of cheesecake (yesterday's baking craving) before looking at your blog...I'm all sugared out, and it prevented me starting a cookie batch at 9:00 PM.
What a fun blog post. Those cookies (espescially cookies made by Nikki!!!!) look delicious! That water park looks awesome. It seems like they are all over Nevada. I know Emery would love going to one of those. Guess I will just have to visit family in Nevada to take her to one.
Chocolate chip cookies are great - especially right out of the oven! And for the picture -- my camera always washing people out too. Lincoln still looks adorable though!
