Christmas 2010

What a busy Christmas! It just keeps getting better and better as our kids grow up! They bring so much life into the season!
Lincoln was very aware of Santa and his function this year. Although, it didn't spur him to wake up any earlier-thank goodness! In fact, Christmas morning, after we'd eaten our traditional breakfast, we had to remind him what Santa did. He remembered, but I guess he just figured Santa was always something to look forward to, instead of a day that would actually come. After the reminder, he was pretty excited about going in to check his stocking.
Gwen just feeds off of Lincoln's excitement.
Here's a picture-log of our morning.

(actually this is Christmas Eve- spreading Reindeer food)

Another tradition-the little nativity in the middle of the floor first thing Christmas morning

Lincoln's Beloved Walkie-talkies--Santa Listened

Notice the fancy rubber-band gun Zach made--I think it's pretty cool! And actually, it's how I got some great behavior out of Lincoln before Christmas. He'd seen Zach making them and really wanted one--so I told him that only good boys get rubber band guns. He was an angel for me from then on!
