Some great things about 13-year-old Gwen!

• It has been so fun having her home for 7th grade.  She has been doing her school virtually this year and it's so nice to always have a lunch buddy!  She's very witty and always makes me laugh!
• Gwen is very creative and is currently writing a book.  Her brother Ned loves what he has read so far and says he'd even be willing to buy it! ;)
• She also uses her creative abilities to make movies and movie trailers from old videos and photos and even stuffed animals!
• She is tall!  She has almost eclipsed me in height, something she constantly points out to me. 
• She is timid, but has some good friends that she enjoys spending time with on the weekend.  Lately they have been spending time at the neighborhood rec center together.  I love that we live in a neighborhood where they have somewhere they can congregate and hang out and that I feel comfortable letting them walk on their own!
• She has been steadily improving on the piano and is also taking voice lessons.  Though, she's not exactly fond of sharing her talents.  Fortunately, there are recitals.
• We sure love who she is and is becoming!
