This has pretty much become a tradition of ours. We like to go on Fridays so it's not so crowded. We did all the free stuff, of course, and had a ton of fun. I don't think we spent a dime on anything beside the tickets. Kids at this age are easily amused so there was no need to. We played in the kids carnival area with sack races, bean toss game, and puppet show. We let the kids fish, looked at art, watched some shows, and of course checked out all the animals. Lots of fun!
