Our Beautiful New Neighborhood

We bought our house for it's location. We have loved and used the park nearby, the sandbox (beach volleyball court), pathways, parks, pool and rec center.  My favorite thing is looking out my kitchen window while I wash dishes and seeing tons of trees from the parkway behind our house.  Such a view in the desert is rare and thus very valuable to me!
Breakfast and Hot Wheels car wash one summer morning.

We aimed for the beach experience... stopping to play in the sandbox on our walk to the pool.

He's outside, thus the smile ;)

Sunset at the pool

Swimming with friends

The Pool!  Ned learned to swim all on his own this summer and Nyle, observing this, decided several times that he didn't need his puddle jumper because he was "bigger", as he put it.  We had to let him test his theory out a few times with us standing close by to convince him to use his puddle jumper while swimming.

For much of the Summer, I didn't even put a swimsuit on this guy because he was too little to even get in the water.  Near the end, he was getting more of an experience.

My Water Boys!  Often I would take them while the older two were in school--the pool was dead then!
