May 2024

It may seems silly, but I love these so much!  It gives me an idea on how I'm doing and perceived by my children.

I had no idea Nyle had been asked to give a talk.  He prepared this on his own with only a little guidance from dad.

At my school, our principal is so nice to provide coverage for those us teachers who have kids receiving awards.  My coverage was a little late so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to go watch West receive his awards.  My coverage showed up just in time and I sprinted to the MP room and I snuck it at the very last second to watch West get these awards.  He didn't know where I was and I worried he wouldn't think I was there.  Finally, he saw me and gave out the biggest grin.  So proud of this cutie!

West received Straight-A award, PE award and the Certificate of Merit for attendance. Also, aside from these, his teacher approached me about 2 weeks before school ended and asked if he had ever received a Principal's Award.  This is an award reserved for just one student per class who shows excellence in all areas. I couldn't remember, but then asked West.  He said he had.  The next day, he let his teacher know that he earned it last year. I'm guessing she wanted to give it to him, but since he had already earned it, she opted to give it to another student.  So, in my mind, he also earned the Principal's Award.

Mother's Day Breakfast that Zach made for me!  He's the best!

Nyle and Mr. Stuflick.  Nyle was able to earn Straight-A's, PE Award and Principal's Award.  He sure loved having Mr. Stuflick!

Celebrating after the graduation ceremony.
