August 24

Rock Climbing Monkeys.  These boys will try anything physical.  We had a Pogo Pass so I took them for a last Summer outing before school started.
West was highly entertaining to Christian and Alayna's Aria at Aunt Lynnette's Funeral

Watched Leslie Bowl in her Special Olympics
First Day of 10th grade for Gwen!

First day of 8th Grade for Ned and 6th grade for Nyle

First day of 5th grade (for me) and 4th grade for West

August marks the end of Summer fun and the beginning of the new school year.   We also celebrated the life of Aunt Lynnette.  She was my "favorite Aunt" growing up.  Since she was single for so long, she was a second mother to me and my siblings.  For many years, she watched us when my parents went to Ed week at BYU.  When she did, she dedicated one day to each of us, where we got to pick the movie, the food, and an outing.  At the end of her life, she was bedridden and in a lot of pain, so in some ways, it was a relief when she passed.  We sure love and miss her!
