Newport Coast 2025

A classic Newport Coast pic.
The kids were so excited to go down!  It has been a tradition that they have loved. We missed a few years so they were excited for us to go this year, thanks to G&G Shamo. We wanted to capitalize on the last summer with Lincoln before he heads off to Guatemala, so we asked my parents if we could join them at Newport Coast.  They generously obliged.

Laguna Beach

She was a little reluctant to take this, but I was able to convince her after all.

We contacted Gwen's friend Keerslee, who had moved back down to Southern California to see if she would be willing to give some of the boys surfing lessons and she was generous enough to offer us the use of her boards as well as lessons.  We picked her up and headed to Huntington Beach.  Both Ned and Lincoln were able to get up and get a little feel for surfing.  Lincoln claimed it was much harder than surfing behind a boat.

We took one day away from the beach to go to Knott's Berry Farm.  Amusement parks were my thing growing up so it was at my request, but I think we had a great day.  The lines weren't too long and the weather was nice.
