Calgary Temple Trip

Zach had a work trip to Calgary in July and I couldn't miss out on the opportunity to go to Canada for the first time, especially in July!  

We learned some good things: 

• Our cell service was not international
• Calgary is beautiful!  (But lots of homeless, which was sad)
• Getting an Uber with no cell service is quite tricky, but we relied on some miracles!

While there, we decided to visit the temple.  We were able to Uber a ride there, but once there, we no longer had cell service and could therefore not get an Uber ride back to the hotel.  We were a little stressed, but thought maybe we could rely on the church's wifi to allow us to access internet long enough to get an Uber.  That didn't work so after some prayer, we started looking around for other options.  Soon after that, Zach noticed an associate leaving the temple.  We were going to ask just to be able to get a hot spot so we could get an Uber, but they offered to drive us back to the hotel as their hotel was only a block away from ours.  What a tender mercy!

We had a great time and brought home some yummy Canadian chocolate to share with the kids.
